One of the powerful aspects of animation is its ability to share the stories of marginalized communities while preserving their authentic identities.

When I heard “Jane’s” voicemail submission to Planned Parenthood, I knew that I wanted to help tell her abortion story. Due to the anonymity of the voicemail, it was up to us to visualize who Jane was and to tell her story in a way that honored her and the Planned Parenthood doctors that supported her.
